The Project – Hurst Creative, a New York city based full service brand and marketing agency, needed a website that would communicate professionalism and polish.
The Hurst Creative home page needed to readily communicate who they are and what they do while encouraging potential clients to get in contact. For a coherent and straightforward user experience, I chose to host most of the site's content on a single long scroll page. This page is easy to navigate courtesy of the topnav and the persistent sidenav bubbles. The site begins with its primary CTA, to encourage a potential client to get in contact. The site goes on to communicate all of the information a potential client may want when deciding to work with the agency. The home page explains who Hurst is as a company, the services they provide, their previous work, who they've worked with in the past, and finally the team members. The home page culminates with a final prompt to get in contact.
One of the most important functions of the Hurst website was to showcase their previous work. The work needed to be showcased in a compelling way in oder to inspire a potential client to reach out. For digestibility, I chose to begin each case study with a set of large visuals from each project. This allows a user to quickly scan through projects they are interested in without having to dive too deep into the details.
It was important the Hurst website be fully responsive so as to accommodate as many points of contact as possible. I chose to consolidate the site's navigation into a hamburger menu nested within a persistent top nav.
